I forgot just how much working retail drains you. I've had mornings lately where I've woken up after sleeping about 9 hours and STILL felt exhausted. My back has been rebelling the standing for almost 5 hours straight too...Oh well - guess it's just something I'll have to get used to. At least it's only weeknights, and I can go to bed shortly after I get home....unfortunately, my son has made it a habit the past two nights of being awake (and keeping Dave awake) when I get home at 12:45am...and when I say awake, I mean WIDE awake. It's taken me 2-3 hours to get him to go back to sleep after getting home. I'm hoping that he won't keep up this habit, because I haven't been able to drag myself out of bed before noon so far this week...thankfully, he's tired too and has slept with me until then, so he's allowed me to catch up on my sleep, but I'm still feeling so tired. I have to keep saying to myself that I'm working for him, and come December I'll get my discount and we'll be able to make this a really great Christmas for him this year

We're starting the planning for his 1st Birthday, too. I'm so excited for it! We're working with his Occupational Therapist to get him eating more than just his baby food - we're trying Cheerio's...and he does not like them at all...he made a face, shook his head and spit it out. Thankfully we still have 6 weeks to get him to eat them, and hopefully want to dive into his first cake

Photographically, nothing has been happening. Still waiting on the loan of my best friends Canon Rebel XSi. She's started school but we've both been so busy that we haven't been able to get together for me to get it from her. I'm planning on taking a day trip up the Kancamagus Highway to take some Fall Foliage shots (and waterfalls too) sometime in the next couple weeks. In the 31 years of coming up to (and living in) New Hampshire, I have never been across the Kanc, and I'm very excited to do so.

Anyhow, that's pretty much it. Not a whole lot going on...I'll update again when there's more exciting stuff happening LOL
